Once again, I had an enjoyable time shooting this couple. Macrae and Joel’s wedding was unique compared to my other weddings for several different reasons. One, Joel is considerably taller than I am, but I came prepared. The day before their wedding I bought a stepladder and it greatly helped me get at eye level with Joel and then above him. Also, it happened to fall on July 3rd, the day before a huge national holiday. This close proximity to Independence Day added to the day’s excitement. Their wedding was held at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, otherwise known simply as “the Muck”, in Fullerton. The Muck has a museum-like quality with secret rooms tucked away filled with interesting artifacts to use as backdrops or props.

Nick,
You made such an impression, not only with your gorgeous photos, but with your personality and professionalism. Each member of our bridal party, family and groups of friends has commented on the fact that you got to know each of their names and went out of your way to make us all feel comfortable, excited and engaged in each shot. Your pictures turned out better than anyone could ever ask for because you captured moments-big and small, intimate and candid, poignant and funny. Thank you for being a HUGE part of our special day. You are definitely hired as our ‘LIFE’ photographer.
