I understand that some people aren’t as comfortable in front of a camera as others, and I always do my best to help them relax. With that being said, I didn’t have to use any of my tricks and tactics with Julia. She was incredibly photogenic and comfortable getting her pictures taken, especially her individual portraits. I could have seriously made this entire blog entry all photos of Julia; each one of her pictures was that good. It might also have something to do with the fact that she has acting experience, but whatever the reason, she did an awesome job. Ryan you did a good job too =). During the ceremony, you could literally see the love Ryan and Julia had for each other as they shared special glances at each other and it definitely poured out in their vows to each other. I had the opportunity to shoot inside the Valencia Hyatt’s bridal suite, a room I didn’t know existed until this wedding. It is a secret room inside the hotel setup with all the amenities a bride and her entourage would need. I went up to one of my favorite locations, Placerita Canyon, to shoot the groomsmen before heading down to Porter Valley. Lastly, weddings usually have guests from out of town, and some weddings even have guests from out of the country. Ryan and Julia had guests from Israel and they sure did know how to “cut a rug” out on that dance floor. It was a very upbeat wedding reception full of lots of dancing.
