When I first got to Old Town Pasadena, the streets were so crowded that I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a spot to take pictures. Fortunately, we found a really nice spot isolated from most of the crowd, although we did have an occasional passerby who was more interested in the chihuahuas than Ashley and Kevin.
We then went over to Eaton Canyon Natural Area to get photographs with a more natural setting. It was perfect photography weather – a combination of blue skies with big, puffy clouds. There was also plenty of shade. Unfortunately, we got kicked out after about an hour. Apparently, you can’t take pictures at a public park without a permit.
Photographing couples you’ve known over the years is always an honor. Kevin and I met back in junior high and I got to know Ashley while in college. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
