Artin + Roxy ~ Engagement
This was the first day in 7 that the sun decided to shine and the rain decided to stop making for dynamic skies as well as a slightly saturated environment. Our first location was the bridge off of Magic Mountain Pkwy. I used it back in November and I felt it needed a bit more photographic exploration. Upon arrival, we noticed that we were going to have to wait a bit to get going as there was already another photographer there photographing a family. Despite the small crowd, Artin and Roxy were able to make it work.
Our second location was actually comprised of about 4 or 5 smaller locations off of the 126. This was probably my favorite location that I have shot in awhile. It offered many different looks and I was pretty sure no one had ever done an engagement shoot there. Again Artin and Roxy had no problem interacting with the environment and going with the flow. We couldn’t have asked for better light. During one specific moment, the light was breaking through the trees at a relatively low angle producing a spectacular back light that was full of warmth. I think Artin and Roxy realized how excited I was about this and new these images were going to be striking.
